Yeh, if that extra helping of turkey doesn't put ya to sleep, this should cinch it!
Its one thing that the Cowboys benefit each season from a HOME game in a short week, but it does seem odd that they again drag a piss weak team from the West Coast to be put to the sword. Last year it was putrid Seattle.
I mean, if they wanna play Thankgiving, cool, but lets see them play a freakin NFC East rival or someone who will give them a contest.
The Raiders will get shelled too this Thanksgiving 34-6 in another game thatll be over by halftime.
caveat: the same argument doesnt apply to Detroit, cos theyd likely be whacked by anyone at home on Thanksgiving, so it's moot. There aint no cherry pickin when you're as bad as they are!

(For the record, I do NOT advocate using SOS analysis using last year's defensive rankings to greatly alter your re-draft league rankings. As we all know, defensive strengths can vary widely from year to year...)
The Carolina Panthers finish the season with the Patriots, Vikings, Giants and Saints. That could rough for your fantasy playoffs.
Speaking of the Saints, they close with the Patriots, Redskins, Falcons, Cowboys, Bucs and Panthers.
The N.Y. Giants close with three NFC East games in a row followed by the Panthers and Vikings.
Remember how the Cowboys typically suck in December? Here is the itinerary after Thanksgiving: Giants, Chargers, Saints, Redskins and Eagles. Yuck.
The Browns play four of their final five at home, but with no Winslow, and Quinn and Edwards reportedly on their way out, this is likely a team I want no part of in 2009.
The schedule is exciting and all, but I for one sim ply cannot wait for the return of Matchup Meltdown! Last year I took the Bengals at home over the Ravens ....and thats all she wrote....one week away from a Meltdown icon

To be fair, the Jets were a 10-6 playoff team the previous year, as were the Seahawks. The schedule makers can't predict how they'll perform the next year. Maybe they're thinking they'll pick a bad team this year and they'll actually turn out to be decent?
