I love me some Rashad Jennings and have for a long time, and I can see him carving out a nice role once Jacksonville realizes what they have with him...He was my favorite back before the draft, so I won't let draft stock scare me off, but he did find a good spot to be in and he should be able to get a nice workload.

It's still MJD's job, but I'd monitor the situation closely because i could see Jennings stealing more then a few carries as the season wears on, no reason he should of lasted till the 7th and he'll be looked at like a steal.

I'm somewhat surprised that they didn't try to draft a RB before the 7th round but grabbing a back like Jennings was probably best case scenario for those who want MJD to have that break out year. He's a guy who's talented enough to make a dent in his touches enough so that MJD could get few enough touches to still be very productive per touch. I still think the ideal amount for him this year is similar to what DeAngelo Williams had last season...at or a little above 300 touches. If he's in the 300-325 touch range then he could easily be an elite back this year, especially given the attention to the O-Line by the Jags in the draft.

They should have a very strong O-line this year.

Winner winner chicken dinner. MJD is going to be a monster this year. If Garrard-Holt can just keep the safeties just a little bit honest, look out.
