Early look at tight ends

Hey all. Wondering who everyone thinks will have elite stats thsi year at tight end. Everyone knows what Witten, Clark and Gates can do -- who are your picks for TE who will break out this season and perform at an elite level?

Greg Olsen, BEARS - I think he could be top 5, and will for sure be top 10.

yeah, Shiancoe is intriguing...especially with Rosenfells there (how did he do throwing to Owen Daniels?)

As a Daniels owner, the games with Sage were disappointing. Week 9, when Sage came in at the half was huge- 11 rec for 133 yds. But the rest is poor-

Week 10- 1 rec/13 yds.
Week 11- 1/14
Week 12- 3/38
Week 13- 2/25.

Big wildcard is Martellus Bennett, he scored 4 TD's as a rookie and physically, other then Gates there isn't a TE who is even close...He declared for the nba out of high school and would of been a 2nd round pick had he not withdrew.

With TO gone I expect his role to increase and the coaches have been doing nothing but raving about him...At worst he's a tremendous red zone weapon and he can very easily end up with 6-7 TD's and 500 yards, those are very formidable numbers and he'll get slept on because he's a 2nd TE.


I also believe Jermichael Finley will take over that job this year and very soon be a top 10 fantasy TE, his receiving skills as a TE and the way he moves for a man his size is pretty amazing, he's a walking mis-match and once he hits his groove he'll be deadly.
