Police say Abby Toll of Colorado wrapped her boyfriend's dog Rex, a Shibu Inu, in packing tape and stuck the canine upside down to a refrigerator because he wouldn't kick the pooch out. Michael Vick in high-heels!

I heard about this story earlier today...I guess I don't understand why this has become national news. I mean, clearly she shouldn't have done it, and it looks like she's been charged with felony animal cruelty, which is fine by me. But she taped a dog to the fridge; this isn't exactly Michael Vick territory. I wouldn't really care about this if it were a local story, and I certainly don't care about it happening in some town on the other side of the country.

Have you ever heard of a dog being taped to a fridge? I haven't and would say that could make it as a national news story
