I sent a PM to Patchell on Wed letting him know it was his turn in the draft and he read it, so not sure what's the status on his pick.

My new draft strategy instead of trying to go younger ,draft players that are most likey to end up on the injured reserve.

Waiver Wire options 2009

Postby LS2throwed » Mon Aug 10, 2009 11:22 am

Throwing this out to see what owners think.

Blind Bidding is when you have a budget, say $100 and when you want to bid on a player on Waivers you just claim him and place an amount, highest bidder gets that player, You can just as easily wait for players to clear waivers also. You get $100(or whatever) to bid on all year, when your out you just pick up FA's.

Rolling Waiver order is what we had last year.

I like blind bidding too. Puts an interesting spin on it. Although really it's not too much different than rolling waivers in strategy.
