Of course not. There is always back and forth about trading going on, most of the time were just talking football anyway. It's just too much when you have to go back and forth hearing about how you value players wrong or why you didn't take said deal.

I have a question about our one year into the future pick trading rule.
I understand why we have it - we don;t want a guy trading 3 years worth of picks and then leaving a crappy team that we can't find an owner for to replace him.
But - I'm unclear as to the rule. One year into the future meaning, this past season we could trade 2011 and 2012 picks, so as soon as the draft is over we can trade 2012 (this season) and 2013 (next season) picks?
If that is the case, I'd like to see if it is ok to go ahead and do this, since the draft is almost over.

I think some trades are one sided at first but it lets you know who they are interested in. then sometimes it works out and sometimes not. Its been a whirlwind of players this year, too bad the nfl isn't as well.

It's kinda confusing. I think what Instinctive is try to say is that once the draft is over, the immediate picks we trade for are 2012, therefore 2013 are one year into the future.

And after the draft is over, we are in the 2012 season. Which would make the 2013 season one year away...
Yeh, I've always been opposed to trading picks 2 years in the future - been in dynasties where it has been hard to find an owner for an abandoned teal because it has been stripped of draft picks for the next 2 years (hard enough to find an owner when the team has been stripped of draft picks for just the following season).

So when is the earliest one could trade a 2013 pick? January 1st 2012? The conclusion of 2011 picks would seem intuitive, no?
