Keeper League - Trading Reggie Bush

12 Team Salary-Based Keeper League

Start... 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 1 dst
Scoring... 1 pt/5 rush yds/10 rec yds/50 pass yds, 6 pts/all tds, .5 ppr

Salaries based on points per 16 weeks (2 mil would mean 20 ppg)
6 mil plus 4 mil tag to keep players
As of now my keepers would be:
4 mil tag LT, 1.5 Brees, 1.3 RWhite, 1.3 RWayne, 1.0 Addai, and either DAvery or DHester and KWinslow
Bush's salary is 1.3 so he wouldnt be able to fit with the first five as id be .2 over

All unkept players go into an auction draft with prices starting at their current sal (22.5 overall cap). Than after about 60 or so guys are picked, we have a snake order draft of all rookies and guys who have yet to be picked for .2 each. I have the number 3 pick in this draft and guys with #1 and #2 picks are both interested in Bush. The guy with the #2 pick has offered me that pick for Bush. The guy with the #1 pick would consider Welker for Bush straight up (Welker's salary is 1.1 so i would be able to keep him with the above first 5). Guy at #1 has pretty bad rbs (ryan grant, ray rice, earnest graham), but I don't think he is willing to give up #1 for Reggie.

Basically the question is which is a better trade:

Trade A: Reggie Bush for Wes Welker
(Team would be Brees, LT, Addai, Wayne, White, Welker, #3 rookie)

Trade B: Reggie Bush for #2 pick
(Team would be Brees, LT, Addai, Wayne, White, Avery, #2 rookie, #3 rookie)

I'd do it for the #2 pick for sure. Either Moreno or Wells would be great pickups in any league right now...you'd be guarnteed one of them.

I'd say do it for welker. Brady's going to be back you can really just draft RB's for the rest of the draft b/c yr receivers will be set for each week and just let the best RBs fall to you while everyone else scrambles to fill all the other positions.

Trade #2 for sure -- I like Welker, but a chance for one of the "big 2" RBs can't be passed up.

Thanks for your input on mine.
