Should I stick with roster or make moves

Postby dblj9911 » Sun Apr 26, 2009 11:53 pm

I'm in a 10 team dynasty league, standard scoring, 0.5ppr, 6pts all tds. I'm thinking about making a few moves, or should I stay with my team as is.
One move would be for Brady and the other move would be to get the #1 pick overall in the rookie draft. Here is my roster below. What do you think.

QB- Palmer, Eli, Orton
WR- Fitz, Calvin, Colston, Hixon, Sydney Rice
RB- Peterson, DWilliams, R. Brown, LJ, R.Bush, M. Bush, C.Taylor, Caddy
TE- Dallas Clark, O.Daniels

You have a great team with very good depth. I would look to upgrade your QB position. I would offer Bush or LJ and Palmer for a QB upgrade. Other than that, you are set.

That sounds about right, you can unload some of your RB depth to upgrade QB. You won't get Brady with that offer though, not that you need him with your current roster.
What spot do you have in the rookie draft now?

You need a solid fantasy QB and i think you could do that by unloading 2 or 3 of your RBs.
If i were you, i'd do a bold move like offering Reg Bush, LJ and Palmer. Or with your rookie draft, you could just add a QB talent who'd be a potential starter like Stafford or Sanchez.
Good luck!

I agree. You have tremendous depth at the RB position and have room to deal a few of them. Getting brady will be a feat though. That owner is likely salivating over this season and had to wait a year to use him again. Even though his value is lower than at the beginning of last year he is still an intriguing pick because he could go off again. I would try and grab one of the top 5 QB's to pair with Eli.

As everyone's said, you could use a QB upgrade.

More noticeably, I think your WR spot needs help, assuming you start 3. If you start only 2, though, you're good.
Great RB depth, though!

Wow! Gambling at the QB spot, eh?? Forget Brady, his owner will ask for two RB1's & a WR1 at least (the Brady lemmings can't be reasoned with :-b )

I'd package Ronnie, Reggie & Eli as an irresistable deal for a top 5 QB....maybe Warner, Rivers or McNabb.
