What did Stapp do to anger so many people?

For me, I get pissed off whenever I see a grown man in a wife beater and leather pants yelling at the sky with his arms spread out and hair blowing in the wind.

I like them I guess. I like their songs anyway. I know Stapp kind of alienated himself from the band. He has a pretty good voice. Tremonti is the true all around talent there. He's a very good guitar player and song writer. I liked some of the stuff he did with Alter Bridge. Who knows if this is a permanent thing. Alter Bridge claims they are still together as well. Weird. I've never seen them in person, may go to the Pittsburgh show.

I'm apparently in the minority, but I've always liked Creed's music.

I'll agree that Scott Stapp is extremely arrogant, but I've never had disdain for him.
