The draft got me excited...3 player keeper league.
Game Starters must include (11): QB, RB(2), WR(3), TE, K, DEF, ROOKIE(any pos.) , Flex(any pos.)
Standard scoring + 1 PPR
I will keep Calvin for sure, but can't decide on the other two. Give me reasons if you can, please! I will most certaintly try to trade one or two of these guys to a weaker team before our draft since we can only keep three. I think there are a few teams that might bite(one guy is a huge Charger Fan and would jump on LT or Sproles)
Smith, Kevin RB DET Tomlinson, LaDainian RB SD Westbrook, Brian RB PHI Johnson, Calvin WR DET Hasselbeck, Matt QB SEA STL Sproles, Darren RB SD @OAK
Well, you are rightin trying to deal to a weaker team. Try and package one of your older backs along with a younger one for teh young upgrade.
As it stands now, you would have to keep Calvin, LT and Westy. Smith is an option, just not the one I would take. He may be younger but he just isn't that good.
You have issues with your RB age but if you can't cut the deal, I would keep those 3 and make sure I draft 1-2 young RB's and hope they pan out.
Age is definitely a concern for me, but I have a feeling I will stay with CJ, LT, and Westy...unless I can deal one. Most of the other teams have three studs/good enough keepers, but there are a couple with only 2 studs...see what I can do. Thanks!

Great advice -- +1 for me.
Agreed. ITs really your only option. Luckily its not a Dynasty where youth dominates. With a Keeper you can slowly phase out guys. LT and Westy are close to being there but not this year.

I don't like the fact that you have 2 keep Rb's that I think will really start to decline this year. I would look to package LT and Kevin Smith in a trade for a younger stud RB.
I would try to deal LT and Smith for a better RB. Otherwise, I think CJ and Westy are locks. The tough choice is between LT and Smith. I would still lean LT.

How much better of a RB could you get for LT?? It's not even CLOSE to a tough decision between LT and Smith...LT was still a top 6 RB in most every basic format last season despite having nagging injuries all season and they didn't take a RB high like many thought they were going to. In a keeper league you have to play for "now" and LT should be set for another great year...I think you keep LT, Westy, and CJ and it's not really close.
i know age is a concern, but if its only a 3 player keeper league, age shouldn't be all that much of a concern as only 30-36 guys are gonna be kept a year, right now Idk if I would put Kevin Smith in the top 30-36 overall, while the three above are all easily top 20, maybe even top 15.
