i think you have to keep the 3 RBs

If Forte can nab you Peyton + someone like Ronnie Brown, then hey, that's the best of it all.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no...

This is a KEEPER league. Peyton Manning is 33 and Ronnie Brown is 27, plays hurt half the time & has never lived up to the hype. How much longer do these guys have in their prime? Yes, even Peyton will start to fade before too long.

Matt Forte is a 23 year-old stud rb. Do not trade or drop him!!! Period.

I completely agree. I dont know what your fascination is with Manning, he isnt even a top 5 fantasy (dynasty) QB. The only way you think about trading Forte is if you get Peterson or Fitz/AJ/CJ and some draft picks.

Now someone else is wrong. Manning is the #1 dynasty QB. I don't think anyone can argue he is not top 5. He will be elite for another 4 seasons, maybe more. Maybe you like Brees or Brady more but no one else is close. I trust these rankings a lot and they have him #1:

Besides, this is not a dynasty league. This is a keeper league. Where if you guess wrong, you can just draft young RBs the next year to re-load. In a 2 or 3 keeper league you want a couple dependable guys you can hang your hat on. Being a sophomore RB, Forte is a risk. There are a ton of young RBs who will be available. Do you think JStew and DMac were kept in this league? Definitely not. Add them to Moreno, Wells, and Brown and you've got a ton of young RBs who weren't way overused last year carrying an NFL team while avg less than 4 YPC.

I didnt realize you had a website backing you up on all of this information, In that case, I take back my statement. You should keep Manning over Forte.

That is what I would say if you were the only person here with one of those fancy internet machines. But since I can also google, I thought you might like some more information I found on a website, therefore it cannot be wrong: http://www.fftoolbox.com/football/2009/fantasy-football-keeper-rankings.cfm

Now how many QB's do you really think will be kept.... Brady (maybe), Brees (maybe), Rivers (maybe), Cutler (maybe)? Now how many RB's will be kept.... Peterson (for sure), MJD (for sure), S Jackson (for sure), Westbrook (for sure), Portis (for sure), D Williams (for sure), C Johnson (for sure), Turner (for sure), Slaton (for sure), Gore (for sure), Tomlinson (maybe), Lynch (maybe), Barber (maybe), Bush (maybe), Brown (maybe).

On a related note, thank you for making sure to point out that this is a keeper league, not a dynasty league (and then directing me to DYNASTYRANKINGS.blogspot...).

Check the OP. Brees, Brady, and Cutler (?) were all kept. Top QBs get a lot of points and have value. Several of those RBs (including some of your "fo shos") were not kept.

Although I'm sure the OP probably stopped checking this thread about 2 days ago when it fell to pieces.

I will keep it simple. Keep Manning and Forte.
