Eagles to be better than last year?

Ron Jaworski seems to think so and the offseason free agent signings seem to prove it, regardless of how the draft picks work out.

Jaworski: "We tend to forget they went to the NFC Championship Game last year. I look at this team right now . . . it's a better team than the one that walked off the field after losing to Arizona."

Considering they made it to the NFC Championship last year that's a great sign that they will be better this year. But it's also ignoring the fact that the Eagles would have missed the playoffs had they not beat DAL in the seaon finale, AND TB lost to OAK, AND MIN lost to somebody (CHI?).

Also - other NFC teams are looking a heck of a lot scarier. CHI anyone? How about ATL?

We might be better, but so are those teams. Let's all pray the injury gods ravage someone else and let's go Iggles!!!!

A lot of NFC teams have improved. But I think the Eagles have done their part in making the team better. Barring injuries to key players, Mcnabb finally has the offensive weapons he's been asking for, so we will see.
