Lance Moore or Santana Moss... Which WR to keep???

Which WR should I keep for the upcoming season????

I'll assume the shoulder injury isn't going to hinder him once the regular season gets here so I'll say I prefer Moore if your deciding between the two...Moss is obviously the more talented of the two but Jason Campbell had some serious issues getting the ball into the end zone and Moss has been an inconsistent, sporadic tease for years now, at least Moore has Brees to rely on, and being in a ppr league that should be the kicker.


He may be 2nd fiddle to Colston but he'll rack up plenty receptions.

Depends what your roster looks like- without that knowledge, i'd go with Moore. As LS2 said- "Moss has been an inconsistent, sporadic tease for years now, at least Moore has Brees to rely on".

I like Moore, he is going to be much more consistant throughout the season. S. Moss may get you a 3 TD game, but he will also have 5 games in a row with 3 catches for 30 yards.

I would probably take a shot with Moore but would need to see your roster for an honest answer.

Moss does have a serious tendacy to vanish for stretches. HE also has an average Qb throwing to him who may be gone next year leaving him with a rookie to try and get him the rock.

Moore is on a very talented offense with plenty of passes to go around. If Colston were to go down again... big numbers for Moore.

The injury is a concern, plus the fact that Moore might be the #3 not the #2. Moore has more upside and has 10 TDs and 1000 yards as a 3rd stringer. What did Moss have. One thing he doesn't have. Consistency. So you'll get the same from Moore as with Moss, only possibly more with Moore

Let's try some alternate reasoning. I agree that Campbell's a tier-and-a-half below Brees in personal production terms. In terms of spraying targets around amongst his teammates, however, Campbell is fairly restricted by comparison. Santana Moss is THE 'Skins WR1, and has the two talents needed to maintain his explosiveness: The ability to get open & blistering acceleration for YAC. With the Saints' stuffed toolbox, one can't rely on anyone but Colston for consistent production throughout the season.

Also, Zorn has spent the offseason making adaptations for his particular personnel. Expect year 2 of the Washington attack will settle into a nice groove.

I'd keep Moss.
