Hello all, ready for the new season. I just landed the 12th pick out of 12 in a 1 ppr, redraft and I'm pretty psyched. Might be able to land Brady or Brees with the next best rb available (qb's score pretty well in our league even with 4 points per td, we give 1/4 point per comp.) Even with the ppr, Im thing about going rb, rb if those 2 qb's are gone by 12, over a wr due to the lack of true #1's left out there. I always look at WR as the easiest position to get quality later in the draft. Guess I'm just looking for some early opinions and advise. Thanks and glad to be back
I personally wouldn't take a QB in the first 2 rounds. You will be able to get a quality QB a little later in the draft who throw for plenty of yards and completions like Rodgers, Rivers, Romo or McNabb.
My personal belief is to never, ever take a QB in the first 2 rounds. IN a standard league you only start 1 unlike RB with normally 2 and WR normally 3.
I am a traditionalist and generally go RB, RB but a quick crunch of my current rankings puts 12/13 with Slaton/Lynch/Jacobs in there in some order. I would not be against going best RB available and then the #1 WR in Fitz but please, do not draft a QB.
