1.01 for Colston?

Postby illinoisgator » Fri May 01, 2009 9:43 am

8 team dynasty league

Was offered Colston and a 1st round pick next year for

1.01, 1.07, and 2.6

Is this a fair trade or should i make a counter? Im thinking this is too much and may counter with Colston for 1.01 and 2.6?

I think I would hang onto the picks. You do need WR help, but I would take Moreno or Wells at #1. Then, you should be able to land Maclin or P. Harvin at #7.

So far in my dynasty I have been offered or at least tentatively offered Westbrook, MB3 and POrtis for 1.01. You can get more than Colston even in an 8 teamer.

wow...our owners do not value draft picks nearly as high as proven players.

I think that I would hold on to my picks and keep building your teams depth instead of trading basically your entire draft for one player and a pick next year. Hold on to your picks and keep building, if you take Moreno with the # 1 you could trade one of your rb's, possibly Westy with his age, for a proven wr. Good luck.

Not a chance. Draft Beanie Wells with that pick and you could trade a RB for a WR during the season if things don't work out. I dont like that Colston was hurt last year, no thanks.

I'd take Moreno over Wells. Offer 1.8 for Colston, maybe even 1.8 and 2.whatever. Just keep that 1.1 pick for a stub RB that you know will put up numbers for you. Dever will be running the ball and Orton likes to dump passes off to his RBs.

Even though you need big time help at WR, I would hold on to the 1.1 and pick up either Moreno or Wells -- I personally like Wells a little more.

I may counter with something like Colston for the 1.07 and Holt or Ward.
