2008 League Threads

We need to begin throwing some dates around when we can do this draft. Fleaflicker offers us the opportunity to do an on-line "live" draft if this is something we want to coordinate and do. I know with summertime coming, vacations are going to play a factor in determining when we do this draft.

I'm pretty much up for starting whenever, so start throwing some dates out there. With it only being 4 rounds - it should only take about a week to finish.

I'm fine starting whenever.

I'd prefer to do the draft here but wouldn't oppose trying to coordinate a live draft.

I talked with MSB last night and he is going to be joining us this year.

Did you talk to him via AIM? email? PM? other? I need to talk to him about the Flex-Factor league since we'll be doing our rookie draft there soon as well.

Are we going to do the same thing we did last year and allow the rosters to expand for the rookie draft/trades...before cutting down late? I went through the 2007 threads and last year we did this:

Everyone will need to trim their rosters down to 24 players by August 27th. Please post your player cuts in this thread.

I do have a pending job bid, that will require me to be out of state for 2 weeks. I'll let you know as soon as I know when those dates are. I should know next week if i get that job.

Yes, good luck with the job and it seems everyone is in favor of holding it here, which I completely understand and agree with. As soon as I hear from SW regarding this job I'll set a date for the draft.
