I'm in a 10 team, PPR league with 4 keepers. I have three 1st round picks, plus all my picks in the remaining rounds.
My keepers are: 1) M. Forte, 2) Chris Johnson, 3) Frank Gore, and 4) Roddy White.
I was offered L. Fitzgerald for two of my 1st round picks. Is he worth two 1st round picks in a 4 keeper league? It's kinda like giving up a 5th and 6th round pick for him. What do you think?
Depends on what picks, how many you start at each position, etc. but I would probably do it. All 4 of your keepers are really good, young guys. That being said none of them have put up big numbers for more than 1 year. Given that, I would jump at the chance to get a surefire keeper for years to come (especially in an 10 team league where everyone has good players, but there are still only a few superstars). If you are giving up a 1.1/1.2 it might be a different story, depends on how highly you regard wells/moreno and what you think the chances are that they will become a keeper down the line for you.
Besides, after the trade, you now have Roddy White as trade material to try and get back into the first round. Heck, go big, trade White/Gore/remaining #1 for Peterson. I wouldnt mind starting the year with Forte/CJ/Peterson/Fitz.
Even after giving up the two 1st round picks, I'd still have a 1st round pick. I have three 1st round picks right now.....1.1, 1.8, and 1.9. I'd have to give up 1.1 and 1.9
Another point that I forgot to mention is that we are going to 5 keepers next year. By getting Fitz, I'd pretty much be set on next years keepers. I also think that I can get Bowe with my remaining 1st round pick.
We start 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 RB/WR flex spot 1QB, 1TE, 1K, and 1 D/SpTm
I like this trade for you... like you said, you get Fitzgerald for the equivalent of a 5th and 6th round pick. That gives you 3 strong RBs and 2 great WRs... plus you still have a "1st" round pick to take the best available player.
Yes I'd definately do that, you have 2 strong RB's and 2 strong WR's, really strong with all 4 keepers, build through the draft from that point on...Do you know what type of WR's are available or will be available? But 10 teams, I like your 4 keepers as a starting point.

In a PPR league I'd say definately do this deal. The 1.1 pick will definately be a RB (I assume Wells or Moreno -- but this year's crop is not too well regarded). A WR of Fitz's value is well worth a 50/50 prospect at RB. I wonder if you could get Michael Crabtree with the 1.08 pick as well.
Just curious what did you give up to get these draft picks? Surely the 1.1 was not originally yours with the lineup you've got...
I would counter with your 1.8 and 1.9 for him, or try some other combo to keep your 1.1 draft pick. Fitz is a absolute stud and will be a top 5wr for the next 5yrs, easily. So I would try and offer another package for Fitz and see what he say's. Go from there and try and keep your 1.1. If he doesn't budge, then go for it, your team will be stacked with Fitz and White at wr, plus your rb's, you will be very tough to beat. Good luck.
