If you're getting Peterson then YES, why even ask? Peterson is the best player in fantasy and has the ability to rush for 2000 yards this year. IMO. All you are giving up is McGahee who is a #3 or 4 RB, Stewart who splits time with DeAngelo and a draft pick. The draft pick is the only real thing you are giving up. Pull the trigger!!!
Always remember, take quality over quantity. Unless your team is really, really bad, extra players in a trade just sit on your bench and do you no good. Sometimes they're not even better than who you already have on your bench.
we have a guy in our league that is constantly sending trade offers that consist of him sending 3-4 bench players for 1 stud player. So far no one has been dumb enough to take the bait.
I would say yes to this in a heartbeat. I do like J.Stew, but how long until he is the feature rb, and the same can be said for D.Will, they run first and will keep splitting carries. With the #1 pick you will get a top player, but they aren't going to be a proven player. With AP you know what you will get and if you have the chance to get him take it.
