Rb's are always a premium and both Green and McCoy get my vote over all receivers but Crabtree.

Why are you guys so freaking RB happy? Stafford is physically incredibly gifted and he has some targets to throw to, not to mention a running game that will keep the defense honest. He has some awesome potential.

Because potential doesn't win fantasy football...the bust rate on QBs is tremendously high and there are enough solid QBs out there that most fantasy teams in dynasty leagues like this have a solid QB already. Most frequently the weaker point is going to be at RB and due to scarcity (same reason you don't take Peyton Manning or Tom Brady in the top 5), you take the RBs with the best situations/talent first.

And personally, I'm not a big fan of Stafford...could he turn out great? Sure...it's possible, but he never really impressed me at all in college and a big arm will only take you so far in the NFL. He has ONE good target to throw to currently, no one outside of Calvin Johnson gets the nod as a "good" target yet and until the running game is a threat and the defense begins to stop people, then there won't be much pressure off him yet either. I think it's a stretch to say that he has "awesome potential", he has some potential but he's got one of the higher risks of any of the guys you could take here that are near the top of their positions fantasy wise.

Voted Stafford, don't like McCoy and the WRs are pretty underwhelming. I take Stafford here because he is throwing to the most physically gifted WR in the league and he is still young. If the O-line can put together a tiny bit of continuity then you could be looking at a big time QB for years to come.

To add, the bust rate for a JR 1st round QB = 67%. The odds aren't with any of them
