Are any of these guys to pan out and become a 3rd or 4th best fanatasy wr. I thought taking both young wrs from Washinton would give me a chance for one of them 2 pan out but they are both hurt and didn't play much. Should I trade them for draft picks or keep them? I dont really have a 3rd wr right now. Draft picks are 1.01, 2.06, 2.11, 4.08.

Redskins head coach Jim Zorn is looking for "one sure starter" out of 2008 second-round picks Malcolm Kelly and Devin Thomas.
"We play a lot of our stuff with three receivers, and I want to put Antwaan [Randle El] in the slot. You'd like to see one guy completely take over the position," Zorn said. With Kelly still recovering from knee surgery, Thomas is the obvious guy to step up here. Randle El's weak fantasy value continues to fall.
I think Thomas has the most upside. Harrison is done. Malcolm Kelly is coming off a knee injury. He wasn't a fast receiver to start with, I just wonder how he will bounce back after his injury.
Harrison's death knell was Maclin dropping to Philly. That was his best chance to have some value but now they have no room for him. So it's Thomas by default.

Agreed on Thomas but on a side note of sorts... I am still hopeful that the Vikings pick up a veteran like Harrison, sure hands just to run that 6 yard slant.
Harrison's problem is that the veteran minimum for his tenure is $1.1 million if he is on the season opening roster. He will get picked up but not until after the season has started.

I thought that I heard on the NFL Network that Harrison was leaning towards retirement.

CErtainly has been said many times. I think his agent came out last week saying Marvin was healthy.
It was....

Agent Tom Condon insists that free agent Marvin Harrison has no plans to retire and is still intending to play in 2009.
"I played in 15 games last year and a playoff game, and I intend to play again this season," Harrison told Condon. The agent also insists that Harrison's knees are no longer issue, but it was clear last season that Harrison had lost more than just a step or two. Though Marvin has failed to attract interest thus far, Condon expects him to sign closer to training camps in July.
