Rookie Draft....Need some advice.....

16-team idp dynasty league with ppr. Pick is the 1.12. Here's my current roster:

EEL Dynasty League (8-5-0 in 2008)
QB: K.Warner, A.Rodgers, M.Flynn, B.Favre
RB: L.White, E.Graham, J.Fargas, T.Hightower,
F.Jackson, TJ.Duckett, R.Moats, K.Darby,
D.Ware, C.Brown
WR: B.Marshall, E.Royal, D.Branch, D.Bess,
G.Camarillo, C.Schilens, S.Smith (nyg),
P.Garcon, D.Clowney, B.Smith
TE: O.Daniels, B.Scaife, J.Finley
PK: S.Graham, N.Rackers
DL: J.Smith, J.Tuck, C.Jenkins
LB: G.Brackett, S.Cooper, J.Diles, HB.Blades,
A.Jordan, S.Nicholas
DB: A.Bethea, Y.Bell, C.Horton

K.Britt, B.Robiskie, A.Brown, and P.Sanchez are who I'm considering. However, may be able to work a trade for my 1.12. Possibly could get Ryan Grant &/or James Jones plus a third round pick (37th overall).

My thoughts are many-fold. A trade involving Grant greatly appeals to me. At the same time, Warner is up there and Sanchez would be a heavy favorite for a future starter. Though many would have Britt ahead of Robiskie, I believe in how consistent certain colleges develop players into nfl players and Ohio State definitely is it when it comes to wr's. I like A.Brown a lot, but he's more of a future rb to me with good upside.

Need some good advice as I'm on the clock as I'm writing this.

All input is very much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you can deal 1.12 for Grant jump all over it. Your phrasing of the deal makes me think it is not a straight deal though so if you can clarify that would be cool.

If you keep 1.12. I rank the rookies...

1.10 Andre Brown
1.11 Britt
1.12 Dillard

I do not have Sanchez or Stafford in the top 24. 3 year QB have limted sucess at the NFL level... Sanchez is a 16 game starter and I expect him to bust. You have Rodger as well so no need for a QB at all.

I would take Brown as you need a RB more than a WR.

You need Grant badly. Unless you are committing to a rebuilding mode, he quickly becomes your best RB.

I don't have any problem taking Robiskie over Britt and the other rookies. He is in a good position to contribute quickly. Britt is a much better talent but is going to take a while before the situation is right.

The thing you need least is a WR though. QBs next year will be better and you can wait a year with the two crypt keepers.

Couldn't come to a conclusion for Grant (the rookie that owner was looking for was picked just before me)......

Sanchez is high on my list (as I alluded to earlier about colleges, USC puts out nfl quality qb's), but I do agree not to go with him here.....

Brown is a quandry to me as he has to battle D.Ware (who I am keeping an eye on) for the #3 rb position, so just can't pull the trigger on him....

An irony that Dillard was listed above as he is one of my "sleeper" picks at my 2.12 pick (I do really like him as I watched him a few times plus he has T.Holt to pick things up from)....

Also, I agree about what was said above about Britt.....

So therefore, with all that said, I'm going to go with Robiskie as I do also believe in pedigrie and in this case (and with Clay Matthews), you just gotta like the situations their in PLUS what they bring to the table with their family upbringing/background......not to mention Robiskie is at the top of my bpa list of the rookie players left.......

Thanks again for the input as I know I'll be out here asking for more advice/help (we have six rounds in our particular rookie draft).......

Have a great day, everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
