Sweet! I don't mind him on PTI but I hate him on MNF, he just annoyed me to no end. No idea how Gruden will pan out but I gotta think it'll be a major improvement.
Yes, he was annoying as hell on MNF, I like how they put it on his fear of flying that he won't return, but really I think he just pissed off Jaws too much Everytime Jaws would start to break down the play Tony would say something real stupid and Jaws just takes a deep breath and ignores him lol.
Gruden is pretty sweet though, he knows the game pretty well and he's decent to listen to...Either way replacing Tony was going to give MNF an upgrade.

Chucky will be interesting... Dude knows his stuff. Pretty abrasive at times though and seems to lose interest fairly quickly. I watched him on the draft and some of the time you could just tell he had no interest in talking about a topic.
They just need to stop trying to create some kind of dream team and go with people who understand the game and who won't get in the way of the game. I watch MNF to WATCH FOOTBALL, not to see some glammy team of announcers. It's like they think the announcers are the star of the show. They've totally lost sight of the focus of the show, which is why we've had this parade of booth-sitters who detract from the game.

Agree 100%... add to that... Chucky is not done with coaching so you know he is gone pretty soon. I don't know why they just don't grab another guy from one of the existing broadcast teams. Maybe even TD... I like him quite a bit on NFLN.
