This looks to be the team I'll be taking in to the season. Gotta cut it down to 20 players before week 1, but I have a while to see how guys do in camp. 12 team league. passing tds-4pts, all others-6pts, 1 pt for 7 receptions and 1 pt for each additional reception. everything else is pretty standard. 1 QB, 1 or 2 RBS, 3 or 4 WRs, 1 TE, 1 Def, 1 PK
Starters in bold. Draft picks in italics.
QB - Hasselbeck, Roethlisberger, Rosenfels, Culpepper RB - Peterson, Williams, Chris Johnson, Tim Hightower, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Donald Brown, Ryan Torain, Buckhalter WR - Fitzgerald, DeSean Jackson, Vincent Jackson, Johnnie Lee Higgins, Kenny Britt, Isaac Bruce, Koren Robinson TE - Gates, Shockey K - Lindell Def - Packers, Falcons
Kind of worried about the WR2 spot with Maclin being drafted this year but that's about it. What do you guys think?

Overall a decent team that could use some tweaking. I love your RBs, but I would trade DeAngelo Williams for a top 5 WR if possible. You never know when Stewart is going to take a larger role. I agree that your WR #2 is shaky at best, thus the reason to trade one of your RBs to upgrade there, because having to start 3 or 4 WRs puts a premium on WRs. Even though I like DeSean Jackson, I believe Maclin will be the main guy in Philly before the 2009 season is up, and I see Jackson as a WR #3, not #2. Same for V Jackson. I would also drop Bruce, Robinson, Higgins, and the Falcons defense for a flyer on a rookie WR or TE or two, such as Jared Cook, Shawn Nelson, Mike Thomas, Johnny Knox, or Mike Wallace. Maybe one of these guys is on the WW? I'm not excited about your QBs fantasy wise, but they are serviceable. Roethlisberger is a better NFL QB than Fantasy QB imo.
Yes, I have my doubts about Williams repeating...but I'm trying to think if I really want to put all my marbles in Chris Johnson's hands for the RB2 spot..The guy with Jonathan Stewart in my league also has Andre Johnson and TO. I'd much rather have AJ, but I'm thinking he'd only part with TO...besides that, looks like I may be able to get Roddy White for Williams...any other opinions out there?
Don't you dare trade DWill for a WR unless his name is Calvin or Fitzgerald. Fox is known for sticking with his starting rb's. DWill outplayed Foster for TWO years before they finally handed him the ball. DWill was THE best rb in football last season, and even if he doesn't match those numbers, he'll still be a beast. JStew is good too, but he will not be the main back in Carolina for at least two more seasons.
Let me know if you trade DWill for Roddy so I can laugh at you.
Also, Maclin played in the slot his whole career at Mizzou, so he will not be replacing DeSean on the outside in Philly.
Ask me if you have any other questions. From what I can tell so far, most posters on here will give you horrible advice.

Listen smart arse, I said for him to trade Williams for a top WR, not chump change. Getting a top WR in a PPR league is very important (especially if you have to start 3 or 4 of them) and he has the RB depth to do it. Stewart is every bit as talented as Williams and should turn that into more of a RBBC than you care to admit. Yes, Fox likes his veterans, but he won't ignore Stewart. No one is saying don't get fair value, and if that means getting a WR and a pick, or a WR and another RB fine, but he needs to move a RB for a WR for sure. Also, if you don't think Maclin will steal Jackson's thunder in Philly you're mistaken IMO. I don't think Jackson will ever be a huge points per reception guy, especially with someone like Maclin on their roster.
