This thread contains comments on Todd Ransom's Article "RBBC: The Advantage", which was posted in the Cafe's Articles section on May 19, 2009. The full article can be read here.
Some things that caught my eye- "Felix Jones is the best pla-maker"
"Pierre will lead the Saints in carries in total TDs"- perhaps meant "carries and total TDs"?
I caught those also after I read through it posted, for some reason it's always harder to find those errors on WordPress but they always stick out like a sore thumb to me once it's printed up. I didn't say anything because I figured once it was posted it was too late to fix an error(anyone know if it is too late), but yes that's what I meant with the Saints line.
Thanks guys.

I liked Todd's article. The RBBC's around the NFL are becoming quite a headache for fantasy players.
Out of all his comments though, I would take issue with the New Orleans RBBC. There was no mention of the possibility of Edgerrin James joining that group. If he does, Pierre Thomas' value takes a huge hit.
It is widely known that if the Saints could have traded back into the later half of round one in the draft, they would have selected Beanie Wells. So, there's some definate doubt that Thomas can "carry the load". If James is added, he will definately take some carries from Thomas, perhaps at the goal line as well, which was an area in which Thomas struggled last season.

Per rotoworld...
Saints coach Sean Payton confirmed that he is no longer looking to add a power running back. Asked if he felt a need to add a bruising short-yardage back, Payton replied: "Not right now. I know a lot has been written about that, but I think the guy we’re looking for may already be in the building." Pierre Thomas has bulked up and is the favorite to handle lead back duties.

Thomas & Bush owners will be glad to hear that, daullaz. But Payton can't very well come out and endorse that he wants James added to the mix. It makes possible contract discussions more difficult in terms of James' salary demands, and in the event James decides to sign with another team other than the Saints, Payton wants to give Thomas a vote of confidence, because at that point he would have few options left in the backfield.
Until James lands somewhere, he's still a threat to the Saints' incumbent runners. I think we both know that NFL coaches and GMs are sometimes not on the same page regarding personnel, and that they lie to the media all the time, especially regarding potential roster moves.
