Rookie Draft Trade Assistance

Postby VACowboys » Wed May 20, 2009 1:43 pm

What do you think the value of Mewelde Moore, PIT is. I am bing offered the last pick in the 3rd round (3:12) of a rookie draft. Most FA have already been selected during off-season FA bidding so this is a true rookie draft. I had offered him for his 2:12 pick.

Here are my RBs

Turner, Michael ATL RB
Ward, Derrick TBB RB
Jones, Felix DAL RB
Moore, Mewelde PIT RB (P)
Choice, Tashard DAL RB
Hillis, Peyton DEN RB (P)
Jackson, Brandon GBP RB
Betts, Ladell WAS RB
Brown, Thomas ATL RB
Parmele, Jalen BAL RB
Thomas, Marcus FA RB
Torain, Ryan DEN RB (P)
Ware, Danny NYG RB
Battle, Jackie KCC RB

how many teams? Even without knowing I would probably do it. You know what Moore is, he will probably never do more than he did last year when Mendenhall and Parker were out. I would take the 3rd round pick because any rookie has a chance at turning into something. You never know, you might take the next Ryan Grant, Colston, Turner, etc.

Moore will never hold huge value but I value him more than a 3.12 rookie pick.

It is a 12 team league.

I countered with my original offer and he countered with MMoore and my 3.7 pick for his 2.12 and 3.12.

Take it. There is all kinds of pretty stuff found near the end of the 2nd and in the third.

A few I like:
RB: Gartell Johnson, SD
WR: Jarrett Dillard, JAX
RB: Rashard Jennings, JAX
WR: Austin Collie, IND
RB: Cedric Peerman, BAL
RB: James Davis, CLE
RB: Glen Coffee, SF

All can be found at 2.12 or later most likely.

Thanks all.

I took the deal and now hope to be able to get Jennings at one of the 2nd round pick (2.7 or 2.12) and a WR with the other. It all depends on how is left as I am going to go with the best on the board.
