Cribbs will skip Browns’ minicamp in contract dispute

Joshua Cribbs has provided a wealth of positive returns for the Cleveland Browns. He wishes they would do the same. Until they do, the former Pro Bowl return specialist plans to avoid voluntary workouts, beginning with a non-mandatory, three-day minicamp that starts Tuesday.

I feel bad for Cribbs for being so stupid. Guy probably has the worst agent in the NFL.

HE signed a 7 year contract, SEVEN YEARS, for less than 7 million dollars. If I'm the worst player in the entire league I don't sign that contract! You're basically giving up your entire NFL life for less than one million dollars a season. Backups at a lot of positions can earn that much in a single season. This guy has zero leverage and the guy is essentially screwed. Even if he does succeed in getting a new contract, all they have to do is give him another few million upfront, extend it for a couple of years, and they own him until his knees blow out. It's a shame some people waste their talent like this and that there are agents out there that misrepresent their clients so badly.
