Now I had the 1.2 and 2.2 picks and traded them for Dwayne Bowe, Santonio Holmes, and Martellus Bennett

I then traded Sproles and Crayton for B Edwards.

Do you think this was a good move?

I know I could of had Wells (I know the other owner was taking Moreno) but I think this trade gives me the young WR . It was hell last season trying to submit a lineup with 5 WRs.

Your WR were Calvin and a bunch of Hobbes, so I think you really addressed a need. Sproles + scrub for Edwards seems like a no brainer buy low. All of these are good young players. Wells might be more valuable than any of your RBs by week 3 but you still have a lot of guys who should get carries.

Unless I skimmed past it, what were the trades that got you those WR's, did you get those 3 players straight up for those picks? If so that's a great move on your part...Bennett as a throw in is going to pay off.

Here are the trades

I traded the 1.2 and 2.2 picks for Dwayne Bowe, Santonio Holmes, and Martellus Bennett (one trade with the last place team. So he had pick 1.1)

I then traded Sproles and Crayton for B Edwards.

In a "who knows who will be good" rookie year it was a very good move getting true starters for your line up.

I like the 2nd move as well... as Thrifty said... 2 backups for a buy low starting WR. I don't like him but hopefully he bounces back for you.

I think you did very well for yourself with your trades -- your team is stronger because of it.

I like the moves for you, you sold high on Sproles and got a # 1 wr and then traded draft picks for proven wr's also. I know you probably could have picked Crabtree, Maclin or whoever else at 1.2, but that doesn't mean that they will produce(look at all of the wr's Detroit has drafted in the 1st rd, where are they now?). So know you have proven talent and a very tough team in that big of a league. Good luck.
