Marshall will be suspended for a few games, but I still think it's worth it. Noone of his caliber will be available at that pick. Take him.
Why are you saying that Marshall will be suspended for a few games. The NFL has not announced any suspension for Marshall. He was arrested early in the offseason. He was realeased and all charges were dropped. I would wait to make a comment like this until the Broncos or the NFL make an official announcement.
Per the Denver Post...
Commissioner Roger Goodell indicated Tuesday that Brandon Marshall will be viewed as a multiple offender even after charges were dropped in his March 1 arrest.
"As you know we spent a fair amount of time talking last summer," Goodell said. "I mentioned to him before that he needs to stay out of the way of any legal issues and criminal issues. While there are no charges here, at least something occurred, and we'd like to understand (it)." Marshall is likely facing an early-season suspension.
Thank you proved my point exactly. Once again, neither the NFl or the Broncos have announced a suspension. The last sentence in that paragraph is the opinion of the writer for the Denver post. The comment about a suspension is not a quote from the commish. You shouldn't be telling people that Marshall is going to be suspended, when nobody knows for sure. That is all I am trying to say.

Nobody knows for sure that the sun will rise tomorrow, but you can go ahead and put me on the record for that one too.

I definitely agree with the logic of the above post. We have no possible way of knowing whether or not Marshall will be suspended next season, and if he will be, for how many games. However, from a strategic point of view when trading for a player in this situation, I think that you would be best served by assuming a suspension. You push the logic that assumes lowest value for the guy you are looking to acquire. It would be silly to trade for a player assuming his value under only the best case scenario.

Just a quick update: Mike Klis, of The Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall will not be suspended for an incident in March after the NFL sent him a letter that informed him that he was not found in violation of the league's personal conduct policy.
The NFL has cleared Brandon Marshall of any possible discipline for his March 1 disorderly conduct arrest.
Marshall received a letter saying he was not found in violation of the NFL's conduct policy. The arrest happened after a dispute with Marshall's fiancee, Michi Nogami. Marshall still faces a misdemeanor battery case later this month in Atlanta, although the trial is expected to be continued. Still, he is not in the clear for this season and continues to recover from hip surgery. Source: Denver Post
According to NFL Live's Trey Wingo, Brandon Marshall "could still face sanctions" stemming from his misdemeanor battery trial later this month.
This arrest took place on March 6, 2008. Both the Denver Post and AP have indicated that Marshall is in the clear after the NFL absolved him for his March 1, 2009 disorderly conduct arrest, but we'd say not so fast. At the time of the 2008 arrest, Marshall was accused of leaving his ex-girlfriend "visible marks above the eye and a laceration on her top and bottom lip."

He can't take a plea as it is an admission of guilt even though just about anyone else in the world would take the plea, he can't or he will be suspended. He has to let it go to trial to avoid suspension. Marshall ain't exactly the perfect citizen but his ex is nuts as well.
