Last season Chad Henne and James Hardy were the headlining dynasty prospects in the AFC East, but a series of unfortunate events led them to finish the campaign as fantasy disappointments. Could fantasy owners see the same in 2009? And who are some of the names headlining this year’s class of rookies? Find out, as I continue my dynasty rookie previews with the competitive AFC East.

Shonn Greene, RB, N.Y. Jets:

2008 Stats: 307 carries, 1,850 rushing yards, 20 touchdowns.

The Facts: After not seeing much playing time in 2006 and 2007 slotted behind Albert Young, Greene broke out in a big way in 2008, averaging 6.0 yards per carry and scoring in every game except one. Greene also eclipsed the 100-yard mark in every game, going for 217 and four touchdowns against Big Ten rival Wisconsin.
