Dynasty - AFC South Rookie Preview

In 2008, the AFC South saw two rookie running backs, Chris Johnson and Steve Slaton, who wowed dynasty owners with big production. What’s in store for the 2009 season? See below, as I kick off 2009’s series of dynasty rookie previews by division.

Donald Brown, RB, Indianapolis

2008 Stats: 367 carries, 2,083 rushing yards, 18 touchdowns.

The Facts: Brown didn’t become the full-time starter at Connecticut until last season. He played in all 13 games, ran the ball no fewer than 19 times in a single game, averaged 6 yards per carry and ran for 175 yards or more five times. That included the International Bowl, in which he gained 261 yards on the ground and was name the MVP. He was also named a 2008 All-American.
