Who to pick in rd 3??

Postby JMAC IS BACK » Thu May 28, 2009 1:21 am

Which one of these guys would seem to be the choice

Kenny Britt, WR, TEN
Brian Robiskie, WR, CLE
Brandon Pettigrew, TE, DET
Clay Matthews, LB, GB
or any other player ( not a RB as i drafted moreno, wells, and mccoy earlier)

I have depth at every spot, just looking for highest upside at this slot , any thoughts out there?>

Well if you are looking for immediate impact I think I would look at Pettigrew. If you look at Detroit they don't have a good o-line, and they have a top 5 wr with Calvin, so that should open a few thing up for Pett. over the middle. I guess a lot depends on your current roster, I don't see any of these players having a huge impact this season. Good luck.

Definitely Britt...no reason he should be around this late whatsoever.

I'm surprised everyone is so sold on Britt. The Titans' passing game isn't so great. I'd prefer Brian Robiskie over Britt. From what I hear Robiskie is the most NFL-ready of all the rookie WR's. Plus, I still like Brady Quinn (or even Derek Anderson) over Kerry Collins.

The Browns will trail in most games and will be throwing a ton next year. The Titans will be doing the opposite, running out the clock with White and Johnson in the 4th quarter of most games.

Take Robiskie.

Kerry Collins signed a 2 yr deal but he is an easy cut next year if he looks terrible. There's a good chance someone like Derek Anderson could be in Tenn is '10 competing with Vinsanity for the job. I don't think either of these guys is more than a mid #3 this year, so forward thinking, I still think you gotta get the guy with the most talent.

I like Robiskie a lot, but Earl Bennett was the most NFL ready WR last year and he barely played a down. So there's no guarantees.
