“In regards to Andre Smith, we are moving forward and devoting all of our attention on the high character, hard working and honest clients of Priority Sports.
“We were asked to come in at the last minute to provide credibility to his draft status and we succeeded in that task. Soon after the draft, Andre Smith became a tremendous distraction to our company. What we have subsequently determined is that Andre Smith does not match the culture of Priority Sports and the character of the clients we take so much pride in representing.
“This will be our final statement on this matter.”

That's my thought, this doesn't happen too often, Agents just throwing away money because their client is an idiot...This doesn't bode well for him, but still he's the got talent, if he shows up to work he'll still be the dominant tackle he was in College, Cincy just doesn't want the off the field stuff, if his biggest problems are his agent I'm sure they would take it.

Yea...the biggest thing here has to be that a company dislikes this guy so much that they are willing to give up pretty good money to not keep him on as a client...another quality acquisition by the Bengals.

Exactly. You can throw out a lot of names in professional sports but I really don't think there is a worse team out of all major sports that are worse at everything than the Bengals.
Not sure why everyone is bashing Smith or the Bengals right now. Smith hasn't done anything publicly to my knowledge since being drafted, and until he does this is all a moot point. Who cares who is agent is, or why they parted. If he gets a new agent and doesn't get into trouble will we care his agent decided not to represent him? Also, we have no idea why they decided not to represent him. Maybe he wants a lot of money and they disagree, or maybe he is willing to sign for less and they don't agree, maybe he killed someone and they don't want to cover it up. Point is we don't know, and to bash him or the bengals right now is pretty useless IMO.
No doubt. As I was reading their statement all I could think of was how could a representative agency fire a client with such a damning assualt on his character. Regardless of the veracity of their claim, they look like they are going out of their way to put Smith in a bad light. They should be sued for defamation.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?
