That sounds about right. That's a good spot to be drafting in in a PPR. You have a chance to nab one of the elite RBs and almost guarantee you get one of the big 3 WRs.
I think that first off you have to roll with the draft also and be flexible. There may be a owner or two in front of you taking wr's early and then a better rb may slide to you, so you can't get caught up in the rush of what others are doing. I always believe in ranking your players, have a game plan of what you would like to do, but again be willing to move off of your plan if something wild happens and just trust your rankings. Good luck.

Good point. You could also start the trend and take the best WR at #9. IT would probably start a rush and then you could still probably land a Forte, Gore, Slaton or Jacobs in round 2 on the turn. Thing is if you take a RB in the first and then a rush on WRs happen you'll probably need to take a RB in round 2 and then you're basically be drafting WRs in the next 2 or 3 rounds. If you wait until round 3 to draft WRs, you're looking the 2nd tier of WRs in a PPR league. You're probably looking at guys like T.J.Houshmandzadeh, TO, Welker or Bowe.
Kind of a big question is how many WRs and RBs do you start?
If Im drafting 1.9 in a PPR and Matt Forte is there, i am tripping over my tongue to grab him!
You can grab avery strong WR on the way back at 2.4; one of Fitz, Moss, Megatron, Andre will ikely be there (with the likes of Wayne and others avauialble even IF the big 4 are gone)
Kudos to the uberdesigner 'soty' for the sig!

People see the .5 PPR or 1.0 PPR and they automatically think that WRs are going to be the key. The other day I ran some data from the past three seasons using stats from my PPR dynasty league, and just as I thought, there's more of a drop-off at the RB position then the WR position. If at all possible, I'd try to secure two RBs (preferably who are good for a fair number of receptions) very early while the rest of your league is worrying about WRs. Then, when the rest of your league is deciding between Larry Johnson and Jamal Lewis, you can clean up with the likes of Welker, Royal, and Holmes. After the draft, you'll be thanking yourself.
