MJD is an absolute stud in PPR leagues, while Addai.. could be worthless this year. If those picks are solely rookie picks, go for it without a doubt.

With this being a 16 team league and each team keeps 9 players. Thats a 144 players off the board before the draft. It is mostly a rookie draft for the first 2 rounds. Once in awhile a vet. will get cut and be available but it doesn't happen often.

Personally I would be targettign Wr help. That is where you need it. I would use the MJD as a fallback plan as it is not a bad deal but you do run the risk of playing as season and either having LT or MJD go down leaving your team mediocre at best and potentially losing a high first rounder in 2010. If you can dump Addai for a WR, it makes you a more rounded team.

Not a chance in a PPR. I agree, Addai could be history within a few years IMO and MJD is a flat our stud. Might want to try to get some depth at WR though.

This trade just does not have much worth.

I think that you may be giving up a ton here to get him and we aren't sure of two things with there team as of yet. Can MJD carry the full load all alone and two will the two new OT play well? Do I think he will still post decent numbers, yes, but how much better from the past? I just think that you are giving up a lot just to get him and I think what you really need is wr help on your roster. I would look to add a quality wr, you really have nobody there, well unless Chad 8-5 rebounds this year. Good luck.

He put this one on the board now.

Addai/LT/10/48/53/63 for MJD/Cotchery/119/122/134/138

Good, bad or just too much?

My starting lineup would look like this:(these would also be my keepers)

QB-Rivers or Cutler

RB-MJD
Ward
McFadden

WR-Ochocinco
Cotchery

TE-Cooley

I just don't particularly like the principle behnd the deal. LT I believe has 2 more good years left, I may be wrong but maybe not. You are givng up all your ealry picks, LT (top 10 in the league last year) for yes, probably a very good RB and a mediocre WR2.

So while you have your 7 keepers, you have what... 2 picks in the first 6 rounds. With this trade, you will not be a contender. Look at packaging Addai and even Ward or CJ to updgrade your WR position. Hopefully DMac pans out for you and you can still draft some young talent early in the draft.

All said and done, I finished the trade.

It was LT/Addai/#10/#47 for MJD/Cotchery/#103/#106

Overall it gives me my stud RB and gives me some WR help that I needed. Plus I keep my QB depth.

I think my team is better this way.
