Are you a huge Cowboy fan?

Been a fan since the 70's through thick and thin. I noticed the Cowboys get alot of play but I never watch unless nothing else is on. I only watch NFL network occasionally and its usually a season game. Its all about ratings folks. The TV station is going to do what is best for them and playing the Cowboys gets them ratings. Why? Because you either love them or hate them and people will watch either way.

One thing Jerry Jones is good at is marketing the team. Whether it be a reality show to qualify for a roster spot or getting the NFL network to play the shows. The fact of the matter is everybody knows who the Cowboys are.

Meh I haven't really noticed it. Not much choice for the Hard Knocks considering that was last season's team. Today I watched the Chargers-Colts game from 07 when Manning threw 6 picks and Vinatieri missed the 23 yarder to lose the game. Some of the best programming I have seen on any channel in some time.

I honestly don't know why they are called "America's team". I can't think of a more hated team in the league by the entire league.

Yea, because that name was given to them recently? They were really hated when they were the greatest dynasty just 10ish years ago. Oh, how quickly people forget, and guess what if they won the SuperBowl this year, guess what? All of a sudden more people would like Dallas. Bottom line people are fickle band waggoner's 99% of the time so go ahead and like the Steelers now, just make sure to get ready to buhy "your" team's clothes next year when another team wins it all.

The media forces this stuff down your throats, same reason everyone hates the Yankees, well some of the same reasons at least...I've always been a Cowboy fan but even I realize how much they are on the tube so it's easy to see why people hate them, if your not a fan you probably hate them.

I hate the Cowpies, always have, always will. Throwed has it right. The media tries to sell viewers what sold before. It's a shame that Dallas doesn't seem to know how to live up to their own hype. Wade Phillips? Are ya really trying to win?

I guess I'm the oddball. I don't love them or hate them. I got a sorta lukewarm 'like' for them.
