My Gore and Portis for his Forte...

Postby H00KemH02NS » Tue Jun 02, 2009 6:55 pm

It's a keep 2, non-PPR leauge. TDs are 6pts, 1 point every 10 yards.

I already have Fitzgerald I plan on keeping. Is Forte a good upgrade? I think Gore could go off this year... Maybe a better question is, if you had no other keeper than Forte would you take Gore and Portis?

TIA!

Great trade for both of you if he has Forte and nothing else. ;-D

That is a great trade for you. Fitz and Forte are both more valuable Portis or Gore.

Portis has a ton of miles on his legs for a 28 year-old, and Gore doesn't put the ball in the end zone.

I disagree with that statement that Fitz is more valuable than Portis or Gore but I think the trade is still a good one. I'd probably personally try to deal one of the RBs and Fitz for ADP or something if possible but this isn't a bad deal. It's essentially trading Portis and Gore for Forte and Fitz which is a pretty even deal overall and at least gives you an upgrade at your top RB spot.

I have Forte > Portis and Gore on my current rankings.

Start the season with Fitz and Forte as your 2 keepers? yes please!

of course, as Matt points out, if the AD owner has AD as a bucket of dookies, then package whichever two of your players the other guys chooses and you'll be laughing. This is hypothetical of course.

hope this helped ;-D

Thanks for the help, fellas. It's the reason this site is the best!

I wish Peterson's owner would part ways with him I'd do it- but he ain't budging. The Forte owner is the only one with a situation I can approach... I'll let you know what happens.
