Pick two to keep, WHIR!!!

Postby indyindian » Thu Jun 04, 2009 10:14 am

I need 2 keepers for Yahoo scoring. FYI, 6pts for RB & QB TDs, 1 PPR.

My top four are: Drew Brees, Brian Westbrook, Chris Johnson, & DeAngelo Williams.

I've kept Westbrook since 05, but I'm suspecting this year is either the boom or bust year for him as he's getting old.
Any advice would be appreciated, WHIR!!!

CJ and DWill would be my choices by a large margin.

Westbrook is having another surgery this week to clean out bone spurs. His value is dropping hard. I still like him a lot - he always plays hurt. But his value is dropping enough I would add him back to the pool and hope to pick him up cheap. Keep the other 2 RBs.

I would keep Chris Johnson and Deangelo Williams. I would have kept these 2 even before the news of the Westbrook injury.

i gotta agree, westbrook is going to slow down a lot this year. and his backup that they drafted (forget his name) sounds like a westbrook clone... so expect him to steal some time from westbrook...

chris Johnson and deangelo are both young and coming off monster seasons.
