If you're keeping all of those guys and that's all you can keep then personally I'd lean towards taking a WR at that top spot. I'm higher on Boldin than some others due to looking at his per game numbers and how they're comparable if not better than guys like Fitz and AJ. The reason why I'd take Boldin over a WR like Manning in this spot is the drop off in talent you're going to see when you get around to picking again in the 4th round.
If you pick Manning your WR1 will be pretty much AWFUL. You'd be looking AT BEST at a Desean Jackson type guy lining up at your WR1, more or less your WR2 or flex spot. However, say you pick up Boldin then go shopping for a QB/WR in your 4/5 rounds, then it's not so bad. With Manning and Rivers still out there a Rodgers/Ryan type of guy might end up falling to you in the 4th round which in the big picture wouldn't be that big of a dropoff from Manning. Not near as much of a dropoff as some of those WRs would be from a Boldin type of guy.
It's all about tiering your talent, in my opinion. Not so much output, but how your other positions' outputs will be affected if you make a certain pick. Tell me how it goes
Ohhh, well my post still stands. Even though I'd entertain the idea of drafting Steven Jackson with that 1.01 pick. Having MJD, Forte, and SJax in your RB stable would be gross. I mean I know there would be a drop off with your 4th round pick... but having 3 of the top 5-6 RBs would give you a ton of Aces in the hole, including a stud at every starting RB spot and they all catch a ton of passes for the PPR league. Let go of SJax then pick him back up... or if youre not into the 3 RB thing then I stil say Boldin...
Only keeping those two, I would target a WR at the 1.1 -- you need a stud WR more than you need a 3rd RB. SJax is a luxury that your overall squad can't afford IMHO. You can always find a 3rd RB later... but I would jump on a stud WR with the 1.1 with the RBs that you have.

No theres a misunderstanding . I have MJD, Forte and S.jax for this year.... Should i go Manning,Boldin ,Wayne or S.Smith with pick 1.1 . Qb's scores a lot of points in our league with 6 pts per TD..............

OK. Good we got that cleared up. Sorry for the misunderstanding bro... and I understand that QBs score well but how I look at it is that I'd rather have Boldin and a M. Ryan type of QB than have Manning and a S. Holmes type of WR. Especially when you have to wait until the 4th round of a keeper league to get a WR, I know you got the RBs but you dont want to have to rely on them too much with absolutely no WR core. Decent QB1s will be there still, no doubt, but even halfway decent WR1s would be LONG gone by that time.
But that's just me... it's all about how YOU tier your talent and how you feel you'll be most successful. Good luck! Stay updated... thats a scary trio of RBs.
