Depends who else you have on the team? I can see him having SOME value especially with Torry Holt gone now, but if you can only keep 2-4 guys I can't see him being a top 2-4 guy on a team. Now, if you can keep how ever many and just lose that draft spot from last year (which must've been really, really late) then I say why not? He's the guy now, he's shown spurts of talent and playmaking ability, and you won't lose out on any legitimate keeper threat draft picks. It all depends on your format.
I agree that it depends on the number of keepers you keep.
I like him a a high-upside WR3 in most leagues -- he should see an awful lot of targets. STL is awful and will be trailing a lot of games, and there is virtually no one else to catch the ball in STL.
I think he is flying under the radar this year -- if you don't keep him, I would target him for a pick later on,
I think he is a solid #3 WR and could be a low end #2 WR. I don't know if I would view him as a keeper, because you shouldn't have a problem drafting him in the middle rounds in most leagues.

You'd rather have TJ over Avery in a dynasty? Housh is 31 years old already and he barely out produced Avery last year, TJ had about 200 more yards and 1 more TD...TJ probably has about one more solid year left before taking a big drop off and at that point Avery should be taking that next step.

Very valid point. i like Avery... with the St. Louis situation maybe not right now. But as the only real target he'll get a ton of looks this year, then by the time he fully develops he should be a legitimate playmaker with some help around him. I'm a little higher on Avery than most but I don't think it's without merit.
In a league of 12 or less teams his value drops since there are too many other good keepers out there. I think he is a solid #3 receiver in deeper leagues and this may be his make or break year. It's time for him to prove himself, albeit in an underperforming system.

Depends partly on the team. Startups - I definitely would rather have 2-4 years of #2 production from TJ and grab Thomas or DHB later. Win now teams without a #2 - Avery is not going to be as good as TJ this year. Loaded teams or building teams, definitely I'd rather Avery.
I don't see TJ at some magical drop off point. He's still on a good passing team with a good QB and good complimentary WRs to take the heat off. Similar WRs have performed well deep into their 30s. I think he still has top 10 potential (maybe only 5:1 chance he is top 10 but it could happen).
