Nope. I wouldn't do it... Bowe is the man in Kansas City (for what it's worth) and he's young enough for a bright future, but old enough to make immediate impact. McCoy looks like he may get a shot at that starting spot or at least a ton of carries sooner than most thought with Westy being shaky as always. Then there's Jerricho. I like him eventually to be a solid WR2 prospect once Sanchez develops... I like Crabtree to be a stud eventually but Lewis, White, and Curtis are all on their way down for me...
Still wouldn't do it. Is this guy a westbrook owner?- he's targeting McCoy, one of your only good yourg RBs.
To trade away your best young RB, best WR, and one primed for his 3rd year, and a solid young WR, you need to get something at RB more White.
Basically, it's- McCoy for White?! Bowe for Wayne? Two certain producers, but youth for an older guy who's QB is heading the other way, and with no legitimate successors. Cotch for Crabtree-this is the only that's not clearly disadvantageous to you.
White and Lewis are Not going to put u in contention.....look for a better deal.... Both Cotch and Bowe are young guys...whom u will ne able to win with down the line....Plus if u trade them bopth for 3rd teir RB's..who are u going to play at WR Plus u have both wells and mcoy...if it were me i would wait to see what i have in these guys....they may Both end up being very good FF players...
I think that the counter offer is very interesting when looking at it. So you are trading: McCoy for White- I'd take White, he is in a contract year and is going to want to produce to get the big second year contract. McCoy is unproven and who knows what he is going to produce.
Bowe and Cotchery for Wayne and Crabtree: Bowe is in his entering his third year and will be in a high powered offense once Haley puts his stamp on it, but still a slightly unproven qb. Cotch is the only wr in NY right now, will be in a ball control offense and rely heavily on there defense to keep them in the games. Wayne will post the same numbers as always and still should have another 2-3 quality years left, and he has that guy Peyton throwin him the rock. Crabtree was the top player on many teams boards coming out of this years draft, they do have qb issues, but he should be starting from year one. I think that Wayne is a upgrade over Bowe and Crabtree and Cotchery will put up pretty similar numbers this year.
I think that this trade is pretty decent for you overall, good luck.
