Ray Rice for #2 in rookie draft** offer changed**see post 6

There is a offer on the table for my Ray Rice for his #2 overall in our rookie draft. He also own Mcgahees and McClain so it would sure up the BAL backfeild for him, and I was originally thinking I would take D. Brown at #2 to handcuff to Addai but now second guessing whether to take Wells there insted. So two questions; Would you trade Rice for #2, and if you did make that trade take Brown or Wells with that pick. This is a 10 team dynasty with PPR.

my Team:
QB: Cutler, Big Ben, V. Young
RB: Addai, Grant, R. Bush, D WIll, Rice, Leon Washington, T. Choice, J. Charles, B. Jackson, D. Rhodes
WR: Boldin, Marshall, V. Jackson, Avery, L. Sweed, Meachem, J. Nelson, M. Kelly
TE Cooley

Absolutley you make this trade. Ray Rice is involved in a three way RBBC in Baltimore and I don't see him as an elite NFL RB. I think that Wells, Brown and Moreno all are more talented and have a much better chance emerging as a #1 Rb in the NFL.

Absolutely make the trade ;-D

I rank your options:
Moreno
Wells
Brown

I still put Brown 3rd even though you have Addai as well -- Moreno and Wells have more upside, and I would hate to get stuck in a true RBBC in Indy when they pass the ball so much.

And for those keeping score at home :-b , I have flopped Moreno and Wells in the rookie rankings.

Absolutely you do this. While , Rice showed some signs... Harbaugh is slowly turning into Shanahan with the RB core he has amassed there. Just wayyy too inconsistent week-to-week on who will get the touches to be too save on Rice, McGahee, or McClain. Get you a young gun that it's in a better situation. If Moreno is around... I'm taking him at 1.1 more or less 1.2

You gotta pull the trigger on that deal. With the pick I like your thinking on taking Brown. He might not start this year (a la Joe Addai's rookie year) but he will eventually be the man in Indy. Polian loves Brown and compares him to Thurman Thomas when he was the GM in Buffalo. In a PPR league that could be huge and Polian wouldn't have wasted a first round pick if they didn't think he was an upgrade over Addai longterm.

He countered me with a large multi player deal that sends me #2 overall rookie pick plus; Mcgahee/McClain, Buckhalter, and P Crayton for Grant/B Jackson, Boldin, T Choice, and my 2nd round rookie pick..... Thoughts?

No way, Jose. And for a multitude of choices. The biggest one being Boldin>>>everyone else mentioned here.

I agree turn down the second offer.....why would you want to tie up 3 roster spots with Balt Rb's........if the first one is there take it....and draft your favorite of the 3......I like the thought of Brown.....Indy RB's when healthy have been good....and Addai can't stay healthy.......

Good Luck!!
