Who Should I Draft?

Postby jc2000n4 » Thu Jun 11, 2009 10:25 am

12 Team H2H Keeper (4 Keepers) Yahoo PPR League (we also play 2 QB's, so they play a big role in our league)

Keepers - Jones-Drew, Brady, R. Moss, DeAngelo Williams

I currently hold the 7th pick in our draft and i am very unsure who to draft. The best available wr's will be Owens, Colston (possibly), Vincent Jackson, Roy Williams, Braylon Edwards. The QB's left arent worth picking in the first rnd when our draft starts (Orton, Trent Edwards, Garrard, Hasselbeck, Delhomme). Nobody in our league decided to keep a tight end, so i was leaning towards taking Gates then a QB with my next go around.
Any thoughts?

I would go with Colston this round and maybe a QB in the next round.

Since it looks like you have 4 pretty solid keepers for a long time, with no QB looking to be 1.07 material, I would actually take Owens. I just think he will have a better season than Colsten with his first season on the Bills squad. Since you got my #1 WR this season (Randy), adding some legit big-point week WR wouldn't hurt. Not to mention you have two legit pass-catching, playmaking RBs. IF Colsten was promised to play the whole season injury free in that offense I might say him, but TO is less injury prone and has always fluorished in his first season with a new team... more or less a contract season. We all know he likes that paper.

Once it gets closer let me know a full list so I can see what's going on. May be the beer I've been drinking or something... I'm just getting confused. O:-)
