Adding PPR feature. What to watch out for?

Postby Steeltowne Commish_The Slovene » Thu Jun 11, 2009 8:17 pm

Our salary-capped dynasty league has voted to add points per reception at .5 per catch. B-)

This is going to increase the value of WR and RB against QBs, which is okay with us because we pay them a higher $$-per-point ratio than the QBs in our league (eg. AP $32 & Fitz $22 vs. Brees $18). This will balance that out somewhat. However, I'm concerned that it really change the value of TE's (Witten $8).

What can you tell, warn, alert me to? What should I know before I impliment this change?

That discussion wasn't too helpful.

Anyone else?

Then what are you looking for? :-?

It doesn't change all that much, just some peoples perception(that WRs score more - but all WRs score more ;-) ). The main position it affects are pass catching RBs. Like mentioned in the linked post, all WRs catch passes so it will not be much of a change. In a salary dynasty league, things should work out fine and will eventually adjust(there will be few adjustments - see above)
