I think it's Benson and it's not really close IMO. The only threat to steal carries for Benson is rookie Bernard Scott (who is my sleeper this year). Even if Scott is great, I still think that the carries would be about 50/50. Rice on the other hand will not get goal line carries with McClain there. Plus, he will lose carries to McGahee. I am staying away from all Baltimore backs this year. If McGahee gets cut, then Rice's value goes through the roof.

Well although Benson has been a big disappointment thus far in his career, he may actually rebound to be a decent rb in Cincy ( I can't believe I just typed that). In Chicago he never had a quality qb or passing game, now he has a top qb (if healthy) a good passing game to take the pressure off of him. I think we saw signs of him playing better last year and I think he will post decent numbers and be a very good #3 rb. I do like Rice, but I don't ever see him being a feature rb, and definitely not in Balt. with McGahee and McClain. If McG is healthy he will get a majority of the carries and McC will also get his touches and most likely the goal line carries. I think I'd stick with Benson as a #3 rb. Good luck.

I have absolutely 0% faith in Coach Shanahan ( I mean Harbaugh) and his use of RB's in Baltimore. With so many options, it's impossible to tell who's going to play and get how many touches. While Ray may have some ability and some longterm potential it's just too crowded there to really put a ton of stock in someone that may/is going to be the RB3 on the depth chart as far as rushing attempts.

While, Benson isn't that dependable either at least he has the job, for now. If Bernard Scott continues to develop and eventually starts taking carries away then we'd have to revisit this topic but for now Benson is the man in CIN, at least for now, and that's more than Rice can say.

I agree Benson>>>>>Rice.

Now if Rice were handed the job all to himself, I would say Rice. But Benson has little challenge from backups for carries -- he is a better bet for an RB3.

I hate both picks. I think Benson is a safe play but Rice "could" do better. I personally think Rice will end up with most carries. He does lose goal line though. Avoid

Benson if you must since he is the main go to guy and Palmer/85 might be back in stride this year.

I don't hate the picks, but I sure wouldn't want either as my RB1. I would feel comfortable with Benson as my RB3 and Rice as my RB4.
