Who to keep...if any? Cutler/A.Gonzo

Postby Egg2828 » Sun Jun 14, 2009 2:14 pm

12 team league. NO ppr. 6point TD Yahoo system.

We keep one player drafted in the 6th round or later. If you keep a player you lose that draft position this year.

I can keep Cutler in the 6th round as my 6th round pick
or

A.Gonzalez IND WR #2 now as my 10th round pick.

I do not see much up side in Cutler as a 6th rounder. There are a hand full of QB's that go later who will be 1-3ppg off or better. What's the word on Gonzo? He is the #2 WR with Manning and their run game is a mess. Will he do what Harrison did 2yrs ago along side Wayne?

Thanks,
Egg

I say keep AGonzales. He's going way early in the 5-6-7 rounds while only giving up a 10th rounder would be a definite keeper. While I wouldn't keep JCutler unless you are particularly high on him in Chi-town. His ADP is late seventh round or so and is about the 11-12 QB taken in normal leagues. So, while he may end up being gone by then, other QBs will more than likely still be there. It's up to you but Cutler is bringing a 7.10 draft pick normally so if you can get him later or a higher rated QB in the 6th or so then it would benefit your team.

Only giving up a 10th round pick for the 2nd WR in Indy is a steal.

Yes, you have to keep Gonzo in the 10th, thats good value for him. I dont think cutler in the 6th is worth keeping. pretty sure you could get him or a similar QB in that round or later.

I agree. But, I think that A. Gonzo will be the third option behind Wayne and D. Clark. But, Indy passes so much that his numbers will still be solid.
