The absolute WORST time of year

The start of the preseason - the Hall of Fame game - is three weeks from Sunday. I know it's just the preseason, but the ceremonies and the game feel like the first gasp of air after being under water for too long.

And college ball comes not long after that... we're almost there.

I can believe that. I guess there's no way for us to really know, but there's no way I'd watch the CFL.

There are a couple reasons I like the NFL and high level NCAA football.

1. It's such a high level.
2. I am familiar enough with the players/teams that I have some sort of a rooting interest in each game.

#1 simply doesn't apply for the CFL. I could make #2 apply I guess, but I simply don't have the motivation to learn stuff about the players and teams.

If I had to choose between hockey, baseball, golf, soccer, tennis, NECKCAR, or CFL. I'm picking CFL all day long.

If I had to order the worst sports to watch on TV from those just mentioned it'd be:

1) tennis
2) baseball
3) golf
4) hockey
5) soccer
6) NECKCAR

With tennis being the most watchable and NECKCAR being completely unwatchable.
