Who To Keep? *WHIR*

Postby stickkeys108 » Mon Jun 15, 2009 10:18 pm

I'm the defending champ in my 12 team, H2H, Yahoo, 2-keeper, very competitive league.

Here was my final roster from last season with their draft round:

QB Aaron Rodgers (13)
RB Maurice Jones-Drew (1)
RB DeAngelo Williams (9)
WR Larry Fitzgerald (2)
WR Roddy White (4)
WR Dwayne Bowe (5)
TE Chris Cooley (7)
W/R Thomas Jones (3)
W/T Donnie Avery
BN Julius Jones (6)
BN Tony Scheffler (14)
BN Justin Gage
BN Maurice Morris

As of right now, I'm thinking Jones-Drew and Williams as my two keepers. However, I'm continually thinking, what about Rodgers? Or Fitzgerald? Maybe Bowe? What's your input?

Your first inclination is correct. RB's win fantasy championships.

Man that's tough but you gotta do what you gotta do. MJD and WILLIAMS are simply no brainers. (Unless the scoring system is heavily biased for QBs or WRs) Check and see the stats from last season and see how much MJD and Williams scored vs Rodgers and Fitz. Keep in mind that MJD was in a timeshare and Fitz had the best year of his career which he might not duplicate for a while. DeAngelo proved to be for real even with Stewart on his heels I wish for you that you were in a 3 player keeper league. ;-D Don't worry about Rodgers you may be able to draft him again but losing Fitz is inevitable. :-t

Rodgers and Bowe are not serious considerations.

MJD needs no discussion.

The only choice is between Williams and Fitz, and I don't think it much of a choice really.

id happily take the 2 RB's.

Best of luck ;-D

Much appreciated. But, it's a snake draft, which means I'd have the first pick of the 2nd Round and it's possible that Fitz drops to that pick. Either way, I'd take a WR there.

Sounds good. Keep an eye out for JStewart too. He'd be a good pickup for RB3-4 and a handcuff to your keeper. Keep DWill and MJD.

First you have the right two keepers in MJD and DeAngelo. ;-D

If your starting requirements are pretty standard, I would look to take best available player at 2.1. I agree with your assessment that you should probably go WR there, but don't lock yourself into that and have to reach for a WR when there may be a better option on the board at RB or even QB.

For what it's worth, I would be shocked if Fitz got back to you... I think he's gone by 1.5 in your draft.

Keep the stud Rb's, MJD and Williams are the keepers.

If you can trade, I would offer up Williams/Fitz to the AP owner.
