QB - Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger WR - Randy Moss, Bernard Berrian, Donald Driver, Santana Moss, Chris Chambers RB - Marion Barber, Ronnie Brown, Jonathan Stewart, Cedric Benson TE - Visanthe Shiancoe, Kellen Winslow K - Stephen Gostowski Def - Baltimore
I had 10th pick in the 1st round and 1st pick in the 2nd. I picked Tom Brady and Randy Moss back to back as everyone was picking up all the top RB's. I don't know much about fantasy as this is only my second one. Any tips/advice would be appreciated.
Well I think taking a QB in the first round is not really smart, even if it is Brady (one guy got him in the 3rd). You could've had Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald instead of 2 players from the same team. But regardless let's break it down:
QB - Brady is a gamble, but you have a decent backup even though Big Ben gets sacked more times per pass attempt than any QB in the past 3 years. Brady plays well this year I think, so you are good here.
WR - Moss will play well. Berrian relies on Favre coming back, Driver keeps getting his workload sapped by Greg Jennings, Moss is a sleeper and a big play threat. Teams could stack the box against Portis and get burnt deep by Moss, so I like him as a WR4. Expect to move him into your starting lineup sooner rather than later.
RB - Fairly solid here, especially since you didn't pick one until round 3. Ronnie Brown that late? Nice. He went end of round 2 in the most recent Mock I saw, and you got him end of round 3. Barber went in round 1 so you are doing well. If JStew gets off to a good start, trade him for a WR. In fact, a package deal with one of your Barber or Brown would get you a severe upgrade at WR which would be nice. Benson is busted, he just is. Look for like 15 carries, 40 yards from him.
TE - Farve comes back, play Shian. If not, Kellen. 2 servicable TEs that could see a lot of targets.
Kicker and D are Kicker and D. Gost will get you points, Baltimore is aging poorly but gets 4 games against CLE/CIN so that helps.
Overall very solid team I think. You have 4 players that should go in rounds 1-2 of any draft so you are pretty stacked. Good luck to ya!

Overall a good team, especially given the fact that you took a QB in the first round. I don't necessarily condone it but Ronnie, MB3, and JStew are not bad options... Good squad even though it's gonna be tough to get points out of your top 2 picks during the fantasy playoffs. Hards to sling it around in the snow... I just know having TBrady a couple of years ago, almost won me my league until a 15 and 12 point games in the middle of the fantasy football playoffs...
Should I pick up Donnie Avery? Or are my WR's okay at this point?
Would you have to drop anyone in order to pick him up? I actually am pretty high on Avery as a below the radar guy that should outplay his ADP.
One team is offering me Avery for Ben Roethlisberger. Ben is useless to me at this point as his BYE week is the same as Tom Brady's.
Also, if I'm offered Marques Colston, Maurice Jones-Drew, Ladanian Tomlinson, and Antonio Gates for Tom Brady...should I trade?
What if I had to pick two players from the 4 above, which two and should I do the trade?
Talking about the trade, yes do it. Who at QB would you be giving up and who at the other positions would you have to give up? Give me the specifics but that trade sounds it could lead straight to a Championship for you....
