Hello there again Cafe new season is about to get going, can't wait. I have been looking into the most marketable players in NFL history and thought I would throw the question out to the cafe.

Which player(s) sell the most jerseys, tickets, cards, etc. If you owned a franchise which player would you view as your cash cow. Recent or past popular players.

I'll pick 1 from the present and 1 from the past (Tom Brady, and Joe Montana)
This is in terms of market value, who sells the most crap not our favorite players.

Traditionally for teams... PItt, Oak, Dallas are top 5. Then whoever is hot like Indy or New England.

Players... Favre. Older players people unfortunately forget about quickly. Rice, Montana etc... would pale in comparison to anyone even good playing the game right now.
