First team of the Year...

Postby Wladimer » Thu Jul 02, 2009 11:32 pm

My first team of the year and I'm still very much in baseball mode so I didnt do any research or planning whatsoever. So, how bad will I perform this year? What should I try to do to improve upon this?

QB: Peyton Manning (Round 3, 22nd Overall)
RB: Adrian Peterson (Round 1, 2nd Overall)
RB: Brian Westbrook (Round 2, 19th Overall)
RB/WR: Jon Stewart (Round 4, 39th Overall)
WR: Wes Welker (Round 5, 42nd Overall)
WR: Chad Ochocinco (Round 6, 59th Overall)
TE: John Carlson (Round 12, 119th Overall)
DEF: Panthers (Round 15, 142nd Overall)
K: Neil Rackers (Round 16, 159th Overall)

BN: Eddie Royal (Round 7, 62nd Overall)
BN: Chris Wells (Round 8, 79th Overall)
BN: Darren Sproles (Round 9, 82nd Overall)
BN: Donald Brown (Round 10, 99th Overall)
BN: Steve Breaston (Round 11, 102nd Overall)
BN: Bobby Engram (Round 13, 122nd Overall)
BN: Joe Flacco (Round 14, 139th Overall)

Thank You

Not a fan of the Panthers defense, and you're wide receiver corp could use an upgrade. A 2nd tight end would be nice too...

But for the most part it is a pretty solid roster. Peyton Manning in the 3rd round is a huge steal IMO.

Could you help me out please?

Nice RBs if Westy can stay outta trouble, top tier QB, up and coming TE but as the guy before said WR core looks a little shaky. If this is a PPR then Welker is a under the radar guy I really love at WR2, but with all of Ochocinco's problems I just don't see him as starting the season as my every week starter at WR. Look to maybe deal Westy and Ochocinco for a stud WR and a younger, less-proven, but less risky RB option for your flex.

Thanks Leber for the sig!!
